He will not be bullied by another party and will stand up for his client as if they were family. He is so reasonable and knows how to make his point so eloquently. I wish I could make a book of the email correspondence he has with other parties/counsels - he just has a way with words! He will always try to reason and settle before it gets to court, in order to avoid costing everyone thousands of dollars in fees and representation. I've recently used Chris for what should have been a cut and dry case but the defendant was firm in their beliefs that they were in the right. Chris sent an email explaining our position and how we were right by the law. We never heard a response. Chris had to get creative and involve a somewhat related third party. After a brief phone call with the related third party, the defendant let us know that they would comply with our request. The whole situation gave me immense anxiety and made me sick for weeks. After I involved Chris, he did nothing but calm my nerves and assure me that everything was going to be okay. He was absolutely right. It’s finally over! (05.05.2020) ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We actually started our battle over custody and parenting time with Chris Doran before Shelby Anderson had joined his team as the family law lawyer. This was about 5 years ago and we have been battling the same issue since. Once Shelby joined the firm we transferred right over to her and she immediately go to work. This was a long drawn out and a lot of times very ugly fight. It was not easy, but she took it on and never looked back. She used her knowledge and professionalism as well as a respectful yet firm approach to our opposing party who was not nearly as friendly. We went forward with facts and stayed honest and true throughout our entire fight. She was always available when I needed her for phone calls to explain new situations. She knew exactly what we needed to do to win and never focused on anything other than what would actually matter when it came time for court. She knew it was financially tough for us so she also tried her best to only call or email or file anything when absolutely necessary to keep the cost to it’s lowest amount possible. Case 3: Blind Trust, Get Burned - Marc LeBeau

On the third episode of Chris Cases, Chris Doran interviews Marc LeBeau, a man that suffered third degree burns all over his body as a result of a DPS Trooper pinning him to the ground on 160 degree asphalt. Prior to this incident, Marc was like many Americans and had a blind trust for law enforcement officers. He will talk about how that perception has changed after this gruesome traffic stop and the civil and criminal cases that followed.

On the fourth episode of Chris Cases, Chris Doran interviews Jaime, a man that was accused of and arrested for DUI based on an alleged identification made through the lens of a zoomed-in traffic camera. Eye witness identifications can be powerful pieces of evidence, so the defense had to get creative with this case. Chris and Jaime will talk about how they used the police's own investigatory tactic of a six-pack photo lineup against them to flip the script.

On the fifth episode of Chris Cases, Chris Doran interviews Russ Tuemmler, a long-time friend and also a client that was accused of and arrested for DUI. Russ is one of the few that understands his ability to refuse field sobriety tests. In this episode, you can watch how the police respond to this refusal. Then, Russ and Chris discuss what the Scottsdale Police Department did in this case to secretly record a conversation Russ has with a lawyer.

Case 6: An ICEy Trial - Alix Monty (Pt. 1/2)

This episode marks the 1 year anniversary of Chris Cases! On the sixth episode of Chris Cases, Chris Doran interviews Alix Monty, a woman that was watchdogging ICE agents in her community. The situation resulted in Alix being pulled over, arrested for taking too long to provide her identification, and also arrested for allegedly resisting arrest. Chris and Alix watch body camera footage of the incident, listen to clips from the jury trial, and discuss all the intricacies of this case that took place when tensions regarding ICE activities were at their peak.
